I have had a 3Doodler for a while now, yet have not gotten the motivation to really create anything. I think this is one of the reasons that I have not supported many Kickstarters. This basically just ended up being an impulse buy that sat in my crafting box. I put some new items away today, and saw it sitting there, and decided to put it to use.
After having my Mondrian Twitter bot get more followers in two days than I have in over five years, I was still motivated to create Mondrian-like images. I had trouble really creating 3-D objects with the 3Doodler, but found it quite easy to "paint" on a piece of paper. This added a whole new aspect in the simple painting of straight lines and rectangles filled in with primary colors. I decided to leave the white areas blank instead of painting them in, as that was a decent amount of work.
Maybe, in the future, I will come up with my own creative ideas of things to paint and create!
