One of my favorite movies is the Big Lebowski due to the shear joy and simplicity and wonder of the movie. I enjoy nearly every aspect of the movie, but one cannot deny the vastly important role that the fairly simple game of bowling plays throughout the movie. It is the game that ties the movie together and helps define the relationships between the characters.
I have a very enjoyable drawing of the movie that I can only hope to one day be able to create. I decided to start simple with a colored pencil drawing of a bowling alley, although one can clearly see that I still need some experience at drawing the pins.
