I am sticking to drawings of animals for now, as I am not even that good with that. I can only imagine the difficulties I'll have if I try to draw humans. My theme for the week is colored pencil drawings based on the activities I'm doing, and I continued in the theme by drawing a picture of a bull with some blood dripping down its horns. The theme was put in place by the annual "Running of the Bulls" themed-ride by my bicycling club. We go on the same ride as normal, except we were white with red accents and primarily drink red wine instead of beer.
I decided to add in some of my experimentation with different colors while working on the bull. The sunsets in Seattle have been incredible lately due to the smoke in the air from wildfires. The wildfires are obviously troublesome, and we all hope everyone stays safe; however, the air is a little cooler and the sunsets feel like something out of science fiction. The bull was purple for reasons that I can't quite explain, except that I like bright colors.
