I finished my set of six abstract experiments today. I did another submerged drawing, but with thicker paints, and with less water on the canvas. This proved to be more effective, and eliminated the need to soak up the water after laying down the paint. The final result after complete drawing is not as nice as my picture, but it does look somewhat decent.
The edges of the drawing, which likely dried faster, have a little more defining edges and colors. Inner parts experienced more mixing that looks bland and mostly black. This trend of small underwater-based paintings will continue in the coming weeks as I purchased more small canvases from the art supply store.
