Painting Lines Part 1

I am doing this project for myself and no one else. If I end up creating something that I think is particularly cool, I will continue to do it, and maybe do that instead of keeping this blog that probably nearly nobody reads. Today, my creation definitely resembled this, and I am incredibly happy with the result.

I had a stressful day, and was out of canvases for painting, so I left work early and went to the art supply store. I bought some canvases and new paint, then decided to make one of the most monotonous and simple paintings I've done yet. I simply painted horizontal lines on a canvas until there was no more room. It was amazingly relaxing in a way that only the forest, running, painting, and biking on a desolate trail can provide.

Regardless of its simplicity, I was quite pleased with the outcome of my painting. I mostly did different colors for every line, and chose it to be different. I also picked up some neon paints at the store, which really contrasted well with the darker colors in my current collection.
