Start of set of dinosaurs

I was so inspired by my panel drawings (and my lack of time today) that I drew a T-Rex with Watercolors. My main predisposition to watercolors is the ease at which I can use them. I don't have to bring down my entire (homemade) bowl of acrylics down from the top of the fridge to my "studio" to paint. I merely grab the cup filled with (relatively) clean water and smaller brushes and go to town!

This is at least the 6th T-Rex that I can remember without searching through everything (oops, just remembered another so that's 7+) that I've created since starting this blog, but nearly all of them have come in a different medium (shit, there was that T-Rex drawn on the bowl too). I guess it is a good starter for a new medium. I have drawn enough that I know the basic shape and feel, and they make me happy.

Earlier this week, in a work meeting, I had to flip through my notes with a person far more important than me looking over my shoulder. I sure hope that he got a kick out of the number of dinosaurs drawn in my various notes over the years.
